RAID dissapears after CMOS clear :/
 

WinXP SP2, ASUS A7N8X motherboard, 2 identical 80GB Seagate SATA hard drives.

My brother went to install a TV tuner card in his computer and after doing so, he somehow cleared the CMOS. Now the existing RAID array won't load.

Steps I have done:

1. Set SCSI/RAID over to RAID and set 1st in boot order to SCSI
2. Checked connections, they're fine.
3. Went into the RAID setup utility and deleted/recreated the RAID setup

I'm assuming it's some menial BIOS option that I'm forgetting. Any ideas?

Are both drives set as "enabled" in BIOS?

That's the thing with this crummy RAID controller - you don't really have that option, anywhere. They're functioning and physically connected though.

Basically what's supposed to happen is that the BIOS hands it off to the separate RAID/SATA controller (blehgh) and then it boots from there.
