first, you need to unencrypt the DVD, DVD shrink or dvd decryptor will do nicely, once you have the dick unencrypted to your hard drive, demux the proper VOB files with DGIndex this will give you the audio that is on the disk, then select

or you could get Audacity, which is available at sourceforge for free, and set it to record whatever comes out of your computer speakers. Then play the dvd in your computer DVD Drive and record the audio.

Thankyou for your quick responses, you guys rock as well as TFP.

Now that I have my DVD player working again, I downloaded Audacity and started recording the audio track but I can only get 1 track to show a flow per say whil recording, the other is dead, for some reason. Any idas how to have both sides show up from the DVD to record into Audacity. I know is a stereo DVD playing on Dolby 5.1

mmmm,. that I don't know, I don't have that problem with mine. Maybe try to change the settings on your DVD application to just two channel stereo. Check in the preferences menu (on Audacity) to change the default playback audio source.
