Problem with video playback?
For some reason, and this is all of a sudden I haven't installed or done anything to cause this, but my video play back is messed up. The audio on WMV's, MPEGS etc seems to not skip ahead with the video when I use the bar to change position. It will cut out, and cut back in from where I skipped from. It ends up being all out of sink and I've tried everything, uninstalling my codecs etc and nothing seems to work. Any ideas guys? I'm using WMP9 for the majority of my playback as well.

Difficult to say if you haven't made any changes to the system configuration and it happens with files that previously played correctly.
Just to make sure, these files worked properly before? What kind of system? (operating system, processor, video card) Are these files on a hard drive or on a cd/dvd? Did you quit other running applications? Malware could contribute. You may have picked up something without knowing. Check task manager to see if anything is hogging the CPU. Did you change to a higher screen resolution? You get the idea. Let us know.

Windows XP, geforce 7800, Haven't changed any programs I run, and this is for streaming files, and files downloaded to the HD. Turning off video acceleration fixes it, but then I can no longer go full screen on a streaming video or one playing in the browser. It just goes black and then stops playing. I have the latest drivers for my vid card as well.
