ATi 9800 Pro & Dell 2005FPW
 

Basically, what I need to know is quite simply if the 9800 Pro will support the 1680x1050 resolution that this monitor requires. I don't see it listed in the resolutions when I uncheck the "Hide modes that this monitor can not display," and ATi doesn't have that resolution listed for the card. But, Dell's website DOES. What gives here? I know the Dell 2405FPW's resolution of 1920x1200 is supported, but it's also substantially more money. Help, please.

Yup, updated to Catalyst 6.1, and the option is there. Monitor is ordered now. Love that deal that Dell's got going on now. Only $430 for it.

Yeah, I just got 2 of those today. I love it. Sooo much space to play with, but I don't like that my 9800 PRO only has one DVI out. So I just ordered a new vid card, too. :)
