non loading pics in threads

Anyone know why Im getting wither no loaded pics or partials? Is it something to do with my settings? OR is the server over loaded? Thanks,

have you tried refreshing your page or using the "show picture" feature?(right click on the pic box)

are you using a mainstream firewall?

if so, take off the privacy settings and non-showing pictures will appear (after a refresh)

Thanks for the response. I am behind a corporate firewall. No idea which one. I cant control it. Is there any change I can make to my settings in IE?

Depending on how they enforce http use, look under "tools", "Internet Options". Go to the "Connections" tab. If there is a proxy server, write down the address, then clear the radio button that tells it to use a proxy. If port 80 is not otherwise being blocked, you should be bypassing the proxy now. If you can't get any internet pages, you'll have to re-enter the proxy information at the same place.

in my version of ie6 i often see a bug where a picture half loads or loads the no-picture icon until i right-click it and select "show picture" from the drop-down menu

Well, if you're behind a corporate firewall, I don't think you'll have much luck - first you shouldn't be looking at porn from work (quick way to get fired), but also they probably block most of the sites that people link to for images.
