Comments in Journals
 

I thought I imagined it last night, that maybe I really didn't make a comment on Journals, but I've seen it twice today, on my journal for testing.

Adding a new comment to a journal, increments the comment count... but that comment is no where to be found... :(

Also I've noticed that the comments are now all tagged up with the entry they are made towards, but the order is screwy. Instead of first comment first, it's last comment first. If that makes sense. It just makes the flow a bit weird.

But it's great to have the journals back!

I just tried to comment on your last Journal post, and can confirm that it doesn't show. Probably a display issue.

Mal...can you see comments that have been made on YOUR journal? I can read where you've commented on both of mine...but when I try to look at YOUR comments I cant see the one that I made (on your dumbass entry)

I can't see any comments on my current journal entry, I'm pretty sure I commented on mirevolver's awesome entry from last night, ic an't see that .(. I can see my comment on Shani's journal and on Quadro's journal -- Ehh - it's the gods conspiring against me... :(

I can see comments on older journal entries of mine however...

Yeah, I made comments on your recent journal entry as well but I don't see them....

Seems like it's sporadic. Clicking on the comments section of Halx's journal shows comments people have made today. But yours still comes up blank, as do a few others'....

I don't know if it's a one time hiccup or an ongoing glitch in the comments system. I just posted a test comment to my own Journal which seemed to work.

I hope this gets fixed, especially since I always enjoy reading the comments. And I would like to know what maleficient said in response to my last Journal entry.

The excessively whiney journal entry today has no comments -- nor are they added - the entry prior - does have comments -- this is frustrating...

My comments showed up in mals' first entry today but not her 2nd one

Today I was able to add comments in maleficent's journal but not ubertuber's...???

this journal setup is only temporary until a more full-featured one has run through beta testing... so sit tight.

fhqwhgads's journal entry from today couldn't get comments either, so I know I'm not special... :) I'll stop nagging... it's just odd that some work fine some don't.... and fhqwhgads didn't even whine in his...

yes, maleficent. I was unable to post comments in one of your journal entries. it happened twice. just reporting some feedback.

It's rare that I don't whine in my journal, so this was something special! :thumbsup:

It seems that now I can't even access the journals. Perhaps I'm just slow...

I've tried posting a comment in several journals, and it's been hit or miss whether the comment actually sticks, even after trying four or five times. We're climbing the mountain, we can stick it out the rest of the way journal peoples! :)

I just left a comment for rat's journal and it got lost in the Black Hole.

And I added one to losthellhound's journal and it it joined rat's comment in the Black Hole where comments go to die...

Hmm... now the glitch seems to be the comments go through and post, but they're not viewable. Or else my comments counted jumped by like 5 by ghosts who used invisible text or something.

I know I posted in your journal, but when I went back and looked, it wasn't there, there were a few other journals that had the same problem... There doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to what post will take comments and what won't.

Hopeffully they'll all come back...

It has been awhile since this has been addressed, so I ask: Any updates on the journal comments situation?

I think the comments are posting well now, at least from what I've seen.

I started a journal today. I went back because I had something to add and found I have a comment. But I can't see the comment! Perhaps because my journal is new? And I hate to keep checking because that screws up the view counts. Aaaaaargggh!!!
