weird scary guy has invaded my tfp! - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

so ever since last night in place of the buddy link (http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/images/...torm/buddy.gif) that is displayed under ever post between the search and edit buttons i see an avatar-sized black and white picture of a disheveled man. I asked a friend on tfp to look at it but he just sees the regular buddy link so it's something at least partially connected to my account -- any idea why this is happening?

(I use default style, but just tried switching to sandtorm, looks fine..)

1st thing - try clearing your cache.

how depends on browser, but if IE - Tools - Internet Options..in the middle you see 'Temporary Internet Files' - Click the 'Delete Files' button.

yeah... i tried that -- no luck, he's still bewitching me.

ok, i switched from sandstorm to dark cloud and it went away -- then i switched back to sandstorm and now the buddy icon is visible, but it's the size of the former picture (ie avatar sized)

the whole issue has gone away -- for some reason the buddy button was being replaced with someone's avatar.
