Bug? Zillions of TFP
When I clicked on "New Posts" link just now, an endless number of tabs opened continuously with the New Posts page. I was able to close the window and move along while the tabs kept popping up, but it was definitely concerning.

I can't reproduce the problem with IE.

Firefox. Switched computers, haven't had the problem yet with this one.

I believe I read some months ago that the Opera web browser has a tab feature that lets one have the option of creating a "follower tab", which allows one to choose one and/or all links on the current page and have them open in a new tab(s).
Perhaps the easiest explanation to what caused your error was that you unwittingly encountered a similar feature that is available to Firefox users.

I thought it might have been some sort of user error. My new laptop is somewhat confusing at times.
