Ghost page bug

Hey guys,
I've noticed whenever I load most (not sure what differentiates them, will look around and post back) pages, once it finishes loading it loads another, invisible page (in that, I can't see it, or notice that it's there.)
The only way I know this happens, is because I have to click back twice. In the forward menu, it shows up as an HTTP 404. No errors aside from the one mentioned in This thread - Error when loading page.
Not a hugely inconvenient bug, but I know you web devs always have SO much time to kill :P

Edit; So far I've only noticed it on sub-forums ( such as tilted support, tilted music, etc.) but not on the parent pages (the academy, utility, creativity, etc.)
Re-edit; Oops, looks like there's lots of posts regarding this. Tried searching, but was using the wrong words to describe it. If a mod would be kind enough to delete this post, or merge it with a larger relevant discussion it would be appreciated
