profile picture not updating? - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Since football season is drawing to a close, it was time to update to my spring training avatar.

I went into my user CP, deleted old profile image and uploaded new one, but my old one is still showing up in all my posts. When I go back to the profile manager the new image is the one showing up but isn't in any of my posts.

I have now uploaded the pic to the TFP server for use and it won't show, I have also linked to it from my photobucket account and it won't show.

It shows up in the control panel, but not on threads when I post.

your browser cache is not refreshing which is why you are not seeing the new SF 49ers with the american flag avatar.

you can clear out your cache, or you can set your browser to refresh every page request in your Internet Options settings.

It's not the browser cache.

The picture refreshes in my control panel if I change or delete it, I have uploaded it and linked to it and it won't change when I post.

I've cleared the cache out already thinking that could have been the problem and it doesn't change.

STUPID ASS ME!!!

I was changing the PROFILE PICTURE, not MY AVATER.

Fixed it.
