Posting = Avatar
 

Sorry if I sound like a lazy ass but I think that posting 250 worthwhile posts in order to get a custom avatar is a bit too much. Some one like me doesn't have that kind of time so I was suggesting to change it to at least maybe 50 or 100 post. I love having a picture next to my name as much as the next person but seriously 250 posts is too much for me. Thanks for reading my suggestion.

the Idea is to pay no attention to how many it takes....and simply take part in the community. If you actually participate, you will likely be suprised how easy it is to reach 250.....also realize that if your posts are of serious quality....it may take significantly less than 250.

It comes quicker than you'd expect. Don't focus on post count and you'll be fine. It's kind of like the water not boiling while you watch the pot. I don't check my post count, I haven't since a month after the forum was rebuilt.

I'll just have to ask you to trust us that we've refined everything and gone over all of it repeatedly, and most of it is right where we like it for now. You can give us input, but it's not likely that policies are going to change without a radically different viewpoint that we hadn't considered, or maybe some sort of divine revelation.

edit: of course, now that I said that, I got that curious feeling and had to check. Holy shit, I have a high post count. I guess I'm just a loudmouth.
