If you want to continue the season or even join now, I have started a Yahoo pickum league that will track the rest of the season for us. Simple signup go here, TFP pickum

I know its kind of late in the week but it looks as though the old system is busted for good, and this is the best solution I could think of.

I was thinking about hopping back into running the weekly pool. Prior committments would have led to me be less than prepared. Since Crewsor has set up the Yahoo option, I guess I was looking for thoughts on preference.

So which is your preference - Yahoo or TFP Sports?

Well Yahoo is definitely the easier of the two options. I don't think it does anything for the playoffs and super bowl though. Maybe a combination of the two would be best, Yahoo for the regular season and then take the top of the leaderboard and put them through the TFP bracket.

Bones..... If you want to pick it up and tally everything, thats fine with me. The only worry I have is this becoming a huge clusterfuck. Its borderline now.
People have posted all season only to have their time and energy wasted because the person who agreed to do it backed out and left everyone hanging. Now they registered at Yahoo and posted only to have someone else say they will run the TFP pool after the fact.
For me, now that I see it, Yahoo seems to be the better choice because everything is automated and uniform. Picking is easier without having to cut and paste or do a lot of typing, and mistakes in keeping scores are eliminated. The drawbacks are, it is offsite so people may not be as inclined to participate and I don't think there are post season picks.
Ideally, present futures idea may be the best. Finish the season on Yahoo, then do a post season on TFP.
If everyone prefers to keep it on TFP, and you want to run it, thats great. But we need to decide now lest it become the previously mentioned C.F.

I'd rather have Bones do it, because I personally have a problem remembering to do it unless I see it (like it is on here).

However, if Yahoo is agreed upon, I am OK with that.

well I didn't do my picks this week so I'm fucked automatically.. man I hate when people say they'll do something then just drop it ..

Edit: I did make picks but they weren't in the yahoo one

Man, that stinks... Especially seeing that you are pretty high up in the standings for the ones Strange Famous was supposedly keeping track of. It is a shame that he blew it off like he did... oh well... what can you do?
