So much for Jamal Lewis...

Tearing up the Titans D.

20-17. The demons have been exorcised.

crewsor 01-03-2004 04:42 PM

Yep, Titans D made him look like Eddie George tonight. I still thought they were going to pull it out though. No way I thought was that geezer gonna make that field goal.

djtestudo 01-03-2004 05:30 PM

If that kick was from a yard further back, it wouldn't have made it over the crossbar.

Orlando Brown is officially gone, as he obviously needs a guy with a tranq gun watching him at all times.

Next year, they will have Boller healthy and with a year of experiance, Jamal Lewis ready, hopefully a new right side of the O-line and a new receiver, and a REALLY pissed-off Ray Lewis. It will be OUR year.

crewsor 01-03-2004 05:49 PM

Yeah, we could have done without the one eyed fat man today. He killed us. You're right about next year. A decent quarterback and a deep threat added and look the fuck out.

djtestudo 01-03-2004 05:50 PM

Well, we have a decent QB, so change that to right tackle/guard and it might work.

crewsor 01-03-2004 06:02 PM

I should have said a healthy Quarterback:hmm:

Sion 01-03-2004 07:14 PM

no, you said it right the first time crewsor. :D

If Jamal had Eddie's numbers tonight the Ravens would have won.

true enough. the same could also be said of Jamal Lewis almost breaking the rushing record. Oh, and just what team was it the kept him from getting there...? :D

aswo 01-04-2004 12:56 AM

I, am still kind of suprised about what happened. I thought for sure that after that interception they would win the game. But somehow they just found a way to lose it, due in no small part to that physco left tackle who has the fuse of a fire cracker.

Now you know why we didn't exactly break down crying in Cleveland when he was forced into 'retirement.'

So much for Jamal Lewis.... how about so much for Ray Lewis too? I mean, I love watching the guy, but he dances and talks more garbage then anyone in the league, so it makes it kinda nice to watch him lose. Ray, you made a tackle, its what you are paid to do, my friend, now quit jerkin around and go back to the huddle.

As for Jamal Lewis, he proved to be the second-most effective back on the field today. Eddie George showed a professional excellence that should be celebrated as much as Ray Lewis's antics.

DonNutz 01-04-2004 02:36 PM

Good for him, I hate the Ravens with a passion.

dragon2fire 01-05-2004 12:34 PM

quoth the raven never more

SpikeQX99 01-05-2004 07:46 PM

Ray Lewis must have the best PR guy the world has ever seen. The guy isn't even involved in a play, and the announcers still give him credit for stuff. "Tackle by so and so" "You know...Bob, if Ray Lewis would have made that tackle, they would have lost yardage... Blah Blah Blah" Maybe Ray should play on both sides of the ball, just so they can talk about him EVERY play???

I don't like him, but I can't deny that he's a motivator.

djtestudo 01-05-2004 09:39 PM

The thing is, he IS in on just about ever tackle within about 15 yards of the line of scrimmage.

He had 225 tackles this year, breaking his own team record. He is a better motivator then most coaches in the league, and is likely the best coverage LB in football (6 INTs this year). He is the best.

crewsor 01-06-2004 05:38 AM

I'm not real big on Ray Lewis's dancing and trash talking, but theres no denying hes the best linebacker in the game today, if not ever. Without him, the Ravens defense is good but not great. He's a motivator, an intimidator, and best of all he backs it up.

For the people who hate the Ravens now, just wait. They are young, talented, and only going to improve, for the next few years at least. So you will be hating them even more. And I will be loving it.
