Maybe Brock Berlin should've waited at Florida

Because at Miami, he isn't performing like the player he was hyped up to be.

chris leak is the best qb in florda (the state of florida).

rix and berlin just stunk today. especially rix, who couldnt do shit except take that big fat hit from vilma.

the fsu kickers have to be cursed or something everytime they play miami.

there is a curse with those kickers and I am LOVING it!

Wide Right 4!!!

amazing.... but yea, perhaps berlin should have stayed at florida, he would be playing the same amount of years, plus miami's offense isnt good for him, he is a shotgun/hurry up passer.... he didnt do well this year cause miami strives on the running game, it opens up the passing game, while florida is opposite, they are a passing team.... thats why berlin struggles, it wasnt evident until Gore injured his knee... once that happened Berlin was exposed, and miami was one-dimensional...

well, in the end i think Kyle Wright will be the Starter next year, berlin might win the job but he definitly needs to improve...

Jarret Payton went out with a bang though! I hope he gets drafted

GO CANES

There's a reason why UF wasn't so sad to see Berlin go. I think if Kyle Wright doesn't start the season he should at least see some significant playing time.

I think brock is better than what he gets credit for, i personally don't watch many Miami games or any florida games for that matter but i he didnt look that weak of a qb the few times that i saw him. Also if he had a healthy backfield i think things could of been different for him.

I dunno who Kyle Wright is, but according to espn.com, there will be open competition for the QB spot at Miami next year.

And there should be. Berlin and Rix really played sub-par through crucial points of the season, and they brought alot of talent down with them. Imagine if you put Chris Leak on either roster?

As for the lack of a running game, yes, Payton isn't going to be mistaken for Clinton Portis anytime soon. But Berlin really does seem to have trouble staying away from the big mistake. Ohio State's Craig Krenzel would be a better fit - he at least understands that staying away from the big mistake and letting the athletic talent around you pull you through is enough to win ball games.
