i am a male. i take shower daily. sometimes twice. i was talking about the smell around pubic area that develops over time from sweat i guess. i tried deodrant stick but it's too sticky. maybe a deodrant spray?

nope not after showering but i do have sex before shower. it doesnt smell for the first couple hours but it starts smelling later on during the day.

i think i am a very clean person. i wash myself everytime i go the bathroom. even if it's just to take a piss. and i dont mean just washing my hands.

maybe i am just freaking out over natural bodily smell? i am pretty picky about smell. i leave my window when i sleep so i get some fresh air.

i wear boxer undearwear instead of the other ones.

maybe i should work out more? because i dont think it smelled when i was working out for basketball and tennis. i kinda stopped working out these days.

Shave your pubic hair short? That way there'd be less hair to capture and retain the scent. I use a beard trimmer set on a 3 or 2 guard, depending.

A good friend of mine told me that males reaching puberty exude a distinctly unpleasant odor. Any chances that you are not being forthright about your age?

Exactly what I was going to say. Pubic hair is part of the reason you get hot/sweaty/muggy down there, maybe take some time to trim it down, see how that goes. Apply baby powder to take care of some of the moisture maybe?

yeah..shave ure pubes, maybe theres dead skin, dry semen etc, so try getting rid of those.. try powder to take the moisture
maybe u sweat too much down there, see a dr. some ppl sweat too much in certain areas, so see a doc.

Don't forget diet & medications can affect your body odor. Any changes in what you've been eating, on new meds? Even using a different soap can affect your body's chemistry. And stress too.

getting smelly is an unavoidable part of being human, learn to love it that's my advice.

Also, if you're not self conscious, there are all kinds of creams and the like in the woman's section of a pharmacy. I'm sure you could find a cream for smells downunder.

i heard theres peppermint thingis that strippers put in their vaginas to stop the smell, is that true? if so, maybe they should make a spray for men?

Yeesh! Peppermint, huh? That might hurt.

If odor is usually caused by a combination of things, one being bacteria, perhaps a very mild tea tree or lavender spray? Maybe one or two drops of essential oil to a little spray bottle to help kill bacteria, rebalance, and cover odor a bit? If you try it, definitely do a patch test.
