Well, this might be a bit of a narrow-focus post, but anyway...

I happily got an IUD inserted last Friday (no more crazy birth control hormones for me) and since then, when my SO and I have sex, I find that deep thrusting causes a bit of cramping. Nothing serious, but it's something that's never happened before. Anyone have a similar problem with an IUD? Causing slight cramping during deep thrusting I mean? Does it go away?

Actually, I have similar experiences sometimes. I had mine put in after being on Depo for three years (not something I reccomend). And if I'm not on my period when I have sex, I am a day later and it's super heavy. I should go back to the doc and see if that's normal.

Not to freak you out, but my mom had one put in awhile back, and somehow it ended up puncturing her. That caused very heavy bleeding...

My ex had one, and she said that her doc said any deep penetration from a guy or some other object might cause some discomfort as it would hit the IUD. That's all I really know though, heh.

I thought about that too, but I think that if anything was wrong it would hurt like hell

and i'm pretty much pain free
