Cheapest way to buy LOTS of condoms??
 

Hello all,

I'm living in France right now and condoms are priced outrageously high in the stores. I will be back in the states for Christmas and want to stock up. Does anyone know where/how I can get a good deal on a large number of condoms. Internet sites, stores, catalouges, whatever. I am looking to buy between 100-200 or so condoms.

Latex breaks down over time depending on how it is stored. I don't know how active you are or if you are buying for multiple people, but you don't want to use an old condom.

That aside, cruise on down to a local Wal-mart and buy a few family packs (shouldn't that be anti-family packs). They have 36 each and aren't too expensive.

i still don't get the "family pack" thing.... :hmm: lol, unless if like the parents and the kids all pull condoms out of the same box.... which i doubt

I think they have a decent enough shelf life if kept in a cool, dark place. Something between one and three months (could be more, I honestly don't know).

As far as the rest of you jokers go, haha, this thread has become pretty funny. I didn't really think about how this question would look when I started the thread, but hey, it is what it is.

For those of you who were wondering, no, I'm not planning on engaging in 'balloon fights' with my condoms nor am I planning on sharing them, although I would if asked. I do suppose I can be considered an optimist, or possibly a realist, I suppose that will depend on how many of these rubbers I burn through, excuse the pun.

Does latex really break down in a matter of a few months? The expiration dates on the back of the batch of trojans I am currently using would suggest years, not months. Thanks for the paranioa though.

Are packs of 36 condoms really marked 'family packs,' that just doesn't work on so many levels, wow. Anyhow, thanks for the useful information and the fun. Please post additional links if you know of any places to get cheap or free condoms.

As long as they are kept at a consistent temperature (ie don't keep them in the bathroom, wallet, car, since you are travelling a lot, I'd be careful about keeping them in your suitcase (temperature changes in the baggage hold) they will last til the expiration date. Otherwise, the temp changes does funny things to the latex.

And glad you were a good sport about the good natured ribbing... (not the ribbed for her pleasure kind of ribbing either) - I couldn't stop myself - that just came out.

I've tried it, and it works. It's a bit of a pain in the ass filling out the free samples, applications and all that... but for a few dollars (many of the good ones require a $1 registration fee) you can get a 500 pack of any type of condom you like. Or you can get sampler packs. You can even get lube.

Last I checked, they're Durex condoms, which are some of my favorites. Enjoy.



Edit: I decided to explain the site.

Basically what you do is sign up for an account, which is free. You then sign up for advertising partners' free trial periods, which gives you points. You then redeem your points for condoms. Simple.

Example: I sign up on freecondoms.com as CondomNeeder. I register for the AOL for Broadband free trial. Sometime that day (how long depends on WHICH free trial you get) I get 700 points added to my freecondoms.com account. I then unsubscribe from AOL,* and there's no charge to my credit card. I then redeem 300 of those condom points for a 30 pack of any type of condom I like. If you subscribe to multiple free trials, you can accumulate points. If you get 3000 points (not hard if you get the big ones), you can get a 500 pack of 1 type of condom. Neat, huh?


*Just a note: When you're unsubscribing from free trials, you have to make sure to be FIRM with the people. It took my friend half an hour on the phone with the AOL person to get them to delete her account. I told them "There's no way you can convince me to keep the account, or to get a different type. Cancel my account or give me to your supervisor." I got it cancelled in 30 seconds flat.

i believe they're marketed as "economy packs"... get the most bang for your buck... or by using them and not adding yet another child to the world, you help the economy...

Hey, what's not to be good natured about? I'm having a great time over here. I ended up ordering 110 assorted condoms and some of that K-Y warming liquid personal lubricant from the site coppertop was good enough to link above. Gotta keep the party rolling.

Anyone have any experience with the warming liquid lube? I couldn't pass it up.

I wish having to give thought to buying rubbers in bulk was one of my worries.

Yeah. Not in actual sex (no need for lube in actual sex for me and my girlfriend, as we don't venture in THERE), but I have used it for... personal reasons. It doesn't really warm, just kind of gives a little bit of sensation. Not that great, really (at least I didn't think so).

BUT, before you use it on the Johnson (or on someone else), make sure to TEST a small bit of it, maybe on the back of your hand. A friend of mine was using it and broke out in a really bad rash. Doesn't sound like too much fun.

from what i hear it doesn't last as long as regular ky, but it does have the warming sensation

I just did a little Googling on "condoms" and found a site with these on them. Note the "quantity" pop-up menu. Also note that this particular brand appears to be rather expensive. You might look at these instead.

I've tried the KY Warming Fluid for masturbation. I'm not a fan of it. For my purposes, it's counter-productive. It doesn't warm noticably, it's not even as good a lube as KY fluid, which I'm not a particular fan of either, but y'all try it yourself. If you want my bottle, mostly full, PM me.

If you want to get a free check-up while you're at it, go to a Planned Parenthood in the area that you're gonna be and at the end of the check-up they'll hook you up with a fair amount of condoms, free of charge.

That stuff is the CREEPIEST stuff.... I absolutely hate it. I thought it warmed pretty well, but man... some things should just warm on their own...
