Asking friends of my sister out?
 

I live with my sister in NYC and she always brings home her friends who are always super cute and very attractive. I want to ask them out but I feel weird about it especially since they're friends of my sister. Any advice?

Talk to your sister about it.

Say you date one of her friends. Say it doesn't work out. You could not only lose that relationship, but your sister might get pissed at you, and the friend might be pissed at your sister for having such a jerk of a brother ;)

(not saying you're a jerk of course, but everyone thinks their ex is a jerk :lol: )

I agree with talking to your sister about it but disagree with the rest. Are you going to spend your whole life choosing your dates based on who they know? I would hope that even if a relationship didnt' work out that your sister would support you in the end. There is also nothing that says your sister and her friend can't remain friends, even if your relationship doesn't work. It happens all the time.

I agree with all. Talk to your sister and then just go and ask the next girl out. After all what are sisters good for if it isn't setting you up once in a while with one of her mates. I'm still of the opinion that your bloke mates should try setting you up with their sisters (like that would ever happen). Who knows where love will strike and when, it maybe with a friend of your sister and then all would be good.

Hmm... Not exactly the same, but... I'm dating the little sister of one of my mates. I was pretty fucking nervous going into this, but you know, if it's something you want you just have to go for it, otherwise you're never gonna get it.
Really, the problem if is you hook-up and you're going to be after each others' throats when it's over. If you're mature enough to handle being around your ex, there's no prob at all.

There are single girls?? Ever girl I know is either married or engaged, or with someone.
