Something to keep condom from slipping off..
I was wondering if there was something that could safely be put on to keep the condom from moving to much and even slipping off?
Is that what a cock ring is for? |

Get smaller condoms. You can buy Japanese condoms that are smaller and tighter.
(this might sound stupid but make sure the lube is on the outside...) Cock rings are not for holding up your loose condom. They do however, put pressure on the base of your cock which can allow you to stay hard longer. Some can also provide clitoral stimulation. And some men wear them just beacuse they look nice.

Rubberbands.
Just walk up to the pharmacist's counter and proudly demand, "A box of your Magnum condoms, my good man!" And in a quiet voice, "And a package of rubberbands, too, please."

Buy a smaller size... I don't mean that as disrespect at all. I had the same problem. They kept slipping off and getting all bunched up. The I found that they come in sizes. Changed my sex life.

I thought a cock ring is supposed to keep you flaccid. I was paranoid about condoms slipping off once too, so I bought condoms that fit a bit tighter. I couldnt stay hard for more than five minutes.....

my friends lover has problems keeping his condom staying on tight. Unfortunately his got stuck inside her and she had to dig it out. A smaller size condom would work wonders for him.
With so many varities in sizes and shapes, one must shop around before finding one that will suit your personal 'steed'

I see alot of jokes but not many real helpful solutions to your problem. I have the same problem too and I am by no means small in size. I've read that using a larger size works better because it makes it easier to roll all the way down the base of the penis.
There are two ideas you can try to keep the condom from rolling back up the penis. As you read some have suggested rubber bands, but they would cut off circulation too much. However, if you can get a wide style rubber band of the right diameter so its not too tight, that might work. The other option is flexible bandage tape. Wrap a few turns around the base of the penis and the condom ring. That should hold it from rolling back up. Hope that helps. ZenMan |

Unless your penis is conical, a correctly fitting condom will stay on.
To find the correct size, get an erection, and measure the circumference (i.e wrap something round your penis, about 1/3 of the way up). Condoms are sold with a stated "Nominal Width" which is the flat size of the condom when opened out. This is HALF the circumference, and generally falls in the range 45-60mm. Pick a condom width that is closest in size to HALF the circumference of your penis.

Thanks for that information Daniel. Who would have thought that finding a condom that fits could be just as difficult as finding a proper-fitting bra?

I have also found the smaller or snugger-fit condoms to be helpful. It's totally not about dick size, it's about ensuring enough tightness to withstand a lot of movement. It sounds like you, much like myself, are a vigorous thruster: and I know in my experience, if a condom has even a little give, all the energetic pounding, spiraling, swiveling, and double-dipping will just rip that sucker right off.... Go for the smaller condom, seriously.

And this reminds me of my early days... I used to break condoms all the time (blow the ends outta 'em) from said "vigorous thrusting." Proper condom size selection and "handling instruction" is crucial to riding comfort. ... I think one of the obstacles to this issue are that most guys only know about two condom sizes: Normal and Magnum. Joe Snuffy: "They're rubber, right? Wow. This thread is old. I don't know if this information is useful but DO NOT wear a condom in combination with a cock ring!! From personal experience, all I needed to feel was one blood vessel popping and I was OVER it! As noted by others, a properly fitting condom will do what you need it to do. In addition to slipping off, a bad-fitting condom is more likely to break due to additional friction.

I'm certainly not a condom expert (I've worn a total of ten condoms in my life, maximum.), but the first few times I wore them, they kept slipping off.
Turns out all I had to do was read the instructions. Make sure you pinch the reservoir tip when putting it on... Since I found out you're supposed to do that, not a single one has slipped off at all.

Sexual practices that can make a condom slip
1) If the woman applies her "Kegel" muscles to tighten up during partial withdrawals, then relaxes the muscles during the insertion strokes, little by little, the condom will be pulled off the shaft, eventually ending up stuck in the vagina. The guy may cum thinking it's still on. Sometimes it's possible for the guy to feel a difference as this gradually happens. If it's occurred with a particular woman, she should be advised not to do this, or to squeeze down only during insertions, and the guy should every minute or so feel to be sure he can still detect the rim of the condom.
2) It's helpful for preventing HPV or herpes to wear a condom even when the cock is rubbing the pussy on the outside (frottage, "outercourse," dry humping, etc.). But the friction of a condom against a drier area like the outside of the labia or the pubic bone is more likely to pull the condom off without anyone noticing. The guy should feel to make sure the condom is still on before inserting after this type of foreplay. 3) If the guy slows down or stops pumping, for example to let the woman enjoy an orgasm, the erection may partially subside, and when stroking resumes, the condom may slip off. Again, the thing to do is to reach down and be sure the condom rim can still be felt, and unless the erection instatly gets hard again, to hold onto the rim while pulling out, then to stroke the penis till it gets hard again and reinsert. Hope these tips help! |
