Do women find pimples to be a turn-off?
 

What if a guy only has a couple? Can women see past that? Or is it just a turn-off?

if girl is 12 - 22 years old... you have a 75% chance of being turned down due to acne
if girl is 23-28 years old... you have 40% chance of being turned down due to acne
if girl is 29+ she may even find it a turn on.. you know.. them darn cradle robbers *

Stop worrying, wash your face every morning, but no excessivly (which causes irritation), and don't worry.
It goes away with age, mostly because we learn to take care of our skin better.

I was going to say pimples unless they blanket your face are in no way a turn off. They're a part of life and especially a part of youth. Course Halx just labled me in the older bracket where it doesn't matter at all so maybe I'm just showing my age. lol I wouldn't worry about it. If the girl is too concerned about a couple pimples she's going to be too hung up on looks to be much fun in my opinion.

I know a girl that gets turned on by poping pimples on her man. Most disgusting thing ever....

i dont find it to be a turn-off. my girl's acne is on the way out - getting noticebly less and less which is good. mainly on her shoulders - there is some scarring, but it doesnt turn me off.

only pimples i get pretty much now are when i shave on my upper lip. FUCK!@#$! do they hurt to pop. makes my eyes water. ouch!

Meh. Acne isn't a problem. Easy to look past. I don't expect my SO to be perfect, especially since I'm nowhere close to it. It makes us realize that we're all subject to the same problems and we all have to get over it.

OMG i had a friend who lived with another buddy for a while and he would chase people around trynna pop his zits on them. EW EW EW EW...

Yea, the ones i still get all this time later are the ones from shaving also. The real pain is one in the area under the center of your nose!

MAN i hate those... whenever I pop em or poke at em it makes me sneeze...

hmm u kow the only pimples i ever get from shaving are on the corners fo my mouth. Never had a problem with under the nose... Could be the razer maybe? I use Mach3 with blades no more than 3 shaves old.

And unfortunantly i also know someone who gets turned on by popping zits on her man, very disturbing honestly

Serious Acne is a huge turn off for me. However if a girl has a 1 - 2 pimple breakout every couple weeks it's no big deal, but if it's constantly there obviously it's a factor because you're seeing it on a daily basis.

damn... an old gf used to be obssessive compulsive about popping them, but never was it arousing!

My girls likes it when I get pimples - she pops them with this really concentrated look on her face, and comments on the size etc. Sometimes she even goes skinworm-(is that the right word?)hunting on my back, and I have to yell at her to stop. Sometimes it hurts!
But I've found out that many girls have it that way...

Girls who like popping pimples are true goddesses. They have the maternal grooming instinct. They also give you massages, trim your nails, clean your ears and pluck your eyebrows. It's great.

ive seen a girl that liked to pop her man's zits. but personally it would freak me outif a girl tried popping mine.

I had some acne in high school but as long as it's kept under control somewhat and isnt a hygeine issue alot of girls can look past it if your confident. from what I've gathered at least...

My ex used to obsess over popping any zit i got. She was Indian though and skin and hair is a big thing with her.

i'd really like to say it does not bother me and a pimple here or there would not, but, it is so hard not to cringe seeing a big white thing ripe and ready to explode like something out of X files...

Pimples are major turn off for me especially on their face and ass.

Im a lucky 1, I've never had anymore than 1 or 2 pimples on my face at a time, but I always took good care of my face, making sure I washed it twice a day. I'm 19 now so I'm lucky I got past the pimples stage without being overrun by acne

and she did give me a french manicure and pedicure once... felt cool although the painted nails part was weird...

She shall not pluck mine eyebrows though.. no...

Zits have nothing to do with poor hygene. You can scrub your face every hour of every day and you will still get them if you are prone to getting them.

I have acne, not as bad as it used to be but still a fair amount on the face and chest and shoulders. I don't have much scarring though so I am safe in that respect. Acne on girls doesn't bother me as long as it isn't very bad or it is causing a lot of scarring. If a girl is hot, a dozen zits on her face couldn't scare me away.

As hard as it is to admit, my gf and I kinda enjoy popping each other. Its kind of making sure each other is all clean.... she says its compassion...I find it just rewarding. Since I dont get many these days, she gets a few she cant get....so I get them for her, and its damn satisfying. She loves doing me because she's somehow managed to make me ticklish everywhere, so it makes me squirm and she just eats it up.

Go figure.

I don't whether or not a girl finds acne a turn off will depend on her age. I think younger girls will care, but not necessarily...everyone is different. Some will be ok with it, others won't.

Either way, it's important to take care of your skin. I've seen some girls that have a lot of acne, and they look awful...not because of the acne, but because their skin is either really dry and flaky, or their skin is super oily.

But I've also seen girls with lots of acne, and their skin looks great. A friend of mine has always had a pretty bad acne problem, even though she's a VERY hygienic person. Her skin looks GREAT though. It's very soft, not at all oily or dry. Looks perfect, despite the acne.

I certainly wouldn't think that they'd consider pimples a turn-on, as such. Unless they have some sort of freaky fetish.

pimples really aren't a turn off unless you let them become one, you do have control over your appearence and composure but not in a physical way, it becomes more about how you present yourself over time, how you carry your actions and personality. Alot of people never understand the concept but consider it a cross between confidence and pure ignorance of what people think of you.

I think it's o.k. to have pimples. It the person really cares about you, they won't care about mere skin blemishes. It's what's inside that really matters. Pimples go away....assholes remain!

Pretty much how I feel, which makes me all the more ticked off when I get a razor bump 'outbreak', because there isn't a damn thing you can do about them until they go away...

pimples on face = bad .. not too bad

... pimples on ass = EEWW! .. in that case .. it's hard to pop em yourself. .. good thing i've not encountered that...

zits happen. a few i can live with. however, if the person has a chronic acne problem (acne rosacea, cystic acne, acne vulgaris, etc.) and they don't take medication that can significantly reduce or eliminate their acne, then it's a turn off.

Agreed. My girl has done the pimple thing and the nail thing and the massage thing...I clean my own ears...and I resist the eyebrow plucking thing. But I agree, it's comforting, it shows me we're so comfortable with each other...it's a good feeling.
Her skin is perfect though so all I do back is give massages. :p

I had awful acne when I was a teenager and it totally affected my self confidence. I think it's the worst part of puberty. Obviously it's the most apparent aspect. It sucks.

What sucks even worse is when you are clearly battling with huge acne probs and some model type chick with perfect skin complains about a zit you can't even see. It's like they do it to make yo ufeel bad.

I don't have acne anymore. I took some crazy drugs (acutane anyone?) that is so powerful it's basically an abortion pill.

If you also wash your face the most you can. Be sure to have clean pillows, or pillow cases. It may sound weird but it is curcial.

I was another who took Acutane Worked awesome though. I get a few pimples here and there on my back or shoulders and my girlfriend will bug me to pinch them or she will try when I'm sleeping. She always is trying to groom me.

Acne is not a turn off for me. Some things in life you just can't avoid. Cleanliness and hygiene are important to me however.

I don't think I could let someone pop a zit for me, it would just freak me out a bit. I think it's a cool gesture and it really does take a special kind of person to do that for another but I don't think I would be comfortable with it.

well i'm not a girl and can only speak for myself, but if anyone pointed out to me that i had spots on my face it would be humiliating and, i would find, hugely rude. i'm pretty sure people will know whether they have a spot or not and dont need anyone else telling them about it.

I can handle a couple, but full-on breakouts or acne just detracts from the situation. Shallow? Maybe.
I mean, I can empathise, I used to have it pretty badly, but it is treatable, so unless you're in a really low income bracket you're almost voluntarily living with it.

Which brings me to a question: ASS PIMPLES! HOW DO I MAKE THEM GO AWAY? It's not like it's covered, but for some reason they like to show up there.

I have had several girlfriends who loved popping pimples. Even some of my friends have said as much. Very odd I think.

Okay, this thread has been a real eye-opener for me. I never imagined that there would be girls that wouldn't mind or even like popping pimples. My girlfriend has never tried that and I haven't either. Thankfully we're both at the stage where we just don't get many anymore. I find pimples to be somewhat digusting but it isn't a problem for me to look past them. A bit of acne won't turn an attractive girl into a toad...not at all. Every once in a while there is a truely unfortunate one (right on the end of the nose) but you gotta remember they're just a fact of life.

Yeah maybe I'll just go with regular stuff. I'd feel a little akward buying something called "booty 911", especially considering the uses. If I were the cashier, I'd be tempted to joke about them needing it for their face (butt head, get it? HAHAHA, ...)
