Flirting

Hi there just wondering what is considered as flirting and what are some examples of this.
The problem is that i often can't tell the difference between flirting and just general play around things and need you help to help indentify these flirticous activities out.

For example these events has happened to me quite frequently as of late and i can't decide whether its just playing because of playing OR flirting cause this person likes me.

1. She puts her foot on mine quite often but i can't tell if this accidental.

2. She pokes me and waves, i'm usually like wtf and do the same back to make it seem like i'm not wondering wtf that was about.

3. When we walk she walks and bumps into me.

Just a few things i've noticed but i'm kinda confused.

All help is appreciated thanks :>

I've noticed this as a big form of flirting. Right before I started dating my girlfriend, every time she came over we would play footsie in this manner. Try putting your foot on hers, see what she does. Or try this, when she puts her foot on yours, put your remaining foot on hers, sandwich it.

Bodily contact can be a popular form of flirting. Especially in such a playful manner

Sounds like playful flirting as well

These all sound like popular forms of flirting to me. Whether or not you should "go for it" is a piece of the puzzle that has always escaped me. I've noticed a lot of girls will do some sort of flirting with guys just for fun, not to lead a guy on, but just because that is the way they are.

its just the way alot of women(NOT ALL WOMEN)are when it comes to men!
they like to get us worked up and leave us hanging!

i say make a move,it dont work out then ya know she is either
a. not interested
or
b. just fucking with you and therfore you should leave because she is playing mind games!

go for it, man, you'll never know otherwise.

Harshaw has the right idea, follow his words and you will see, without a risk of bodily injury :D

shes flirting dude.
the poking and waving is usually a good indicator.

now, sorry to say this... is it just you shes flirting with??

i mean, is all for you, or is she flirting with everyone??

not so fast. Women are strange beings, and what guys can interpret as flirting, a girl can interpret as just being comfortable with a person and not meaning any more than that.

God forbid they send a definite signal...

Exactly what i was thinking, seeing that me and her are really good friends and she tells me alot of confidential stuff and asks for my point of view in things. She doesn't to the best of my knowledge do the same to other people seeing that me and her spend so much time together.

I'm just confused by the fact that is she indicating that we are really good friends by doing this, or is she indicating she was something more.

I am a very observant person so i remember practically everything she says does and brings up. So to make things easier maybe you could bring up questions about things that women do to indicate such feelings.

Well Spidey... ya just gotta decide if your spidey sense is tingling :p ok ok sorry i couldnt resist...

anyway... i would consider it quite flirtatioius... i would go with what harshaw says... i would say flirt back... and if she responds positively ask her if she wants to go see a movie and get some icecream or coffee or whatever afterwards... and see where that leads...

either that or start sneaking around the bushes in her yard staring in the windows watching her sleep...

Well...here's the issue

She IS flirting.

But is it "flirting flirting" or
is it "SERIOUS flirting"?

You never know, and they won't tell you.
sorry dude.

Sometimes, you just have to go for it and take a chance,
and Yes, you may get shot down
but you may not.

Depends on what you want.
Also you might be able to coax the truth out of her,
and call her bluff.

I prefer being a straightshooter...everything clear.

anything involving physical contact is a good sign, except her palm across your face. NOTE: her palm across your ass IS a good sign. ;)
besides, who the fuck cares if it's flirting, what are you losing by exploring the possibilites? you have to take charge of your life and be active in it's events.
