I was talking about this earlier to a friend.

Do you find glasses get in the way during sex (full or oral)? What about kissing?

Does anyone here keep them on? Use contacts?

I take my glasses off so they're not in the way. I'd leave my contacts in. Things look a little fuzzy, but I'd rather have that then scratches on my face from the glasses.

A lot depends on where we begin "things." If we're in bed or one of us is in the shower, the glasses are already off. Otherwise they stay on or come off depending on what's comfortable at the time.

I agree that it's much easier to engage in oral foreplay without the glasses, though. Scratches on the thighs,,,, ouch! :)

I take my glasses off when having sex because I don't wanna end up breaking them accidently, and they do get in the way. Sucks for me because things do look fuzzy and since as a man most of my stimulation is visual I feel like I'm missing out on the sight of some good sex when I take my girlfriend doggie-style.

In anycase, I remove my glasses before I have sex. There have been a few cases where I was in too much of a hurry to take them off but that is the exception rather than the norm.

I thought it was about that too and was all set to read about the sordid details.....
I always take mine off. One time, I took them off, flung them to where I thought they were out of the way....then sat on the edge of the bed getting dressed and *crunch*.....glasses on during sex is just goofy. Flinging them to the edge of the bed is goofier.

It may be goofy, but it definitely is funny sometimes in porn when the dude has to take some time off to fix his glasses while boning a chick doggie-style.

One person can be wearing them. Two pairs of glasses just get in the way.

Let's say she has really bad eyesight--everything more than a foot away is a blob. I think I'd like her to have her glasses on while she blows me. Eye contact is a pretty big deal for me during oral, and I'd want to know she could see me too.

They were always already off if we were in bed. But I've always liked it if she removes the glasses from my face. No reason why. Glasses on during sex just doesn't work.

I'm the blind one (-13 diopters), my wife has perfect vision. I only wear my glasses between the bathroom and the bed. If I'm receiving a blowjob, I'll put my glasses back on (usually), but other than that, the glasses are off.

Stylish glasses are actually a bit of a turn on for me. (Must be from watching all those movies where the girl in glasses, with the tied-up hair, turns out to be the real catch)

Yet, for the practical reasons already stated above, off is best. In fact, the act of removing them can be intimate act in its own right.

Never. They get in the way; they fall off and get crunched; if you're on top and make an especially athletic move they can slip off and fall in your beloved's face. (The latter counts as an instance of True Sex (TM).)

My vision's 20/100 in each eye, but as JinnKai suggests, how far away are you actually going to be? And as somebody who's tremendously nearsighted, my closeup vision _without_ glasses (within 18 inches) is better than the average person's. Until recently I could focus at the end of my nose. And that's lots of fun when you're taking a walking tour (as it were) of your beloved's curves, nooks, and crannies.

Well, the last time Spec and I went at it I think I took mine off... but then he put 'em on so it was kind of weird.

Off its sorta like looking at the SO thru the lenses they use in soft focus shots in movies....not that she needs that!!!!

This might be true during sex, but when kissing, glasses are a mood-spoiler for me. Only because we have to stop kissing to take them off.

Besides, it's rude to kiss with your eyes open :cool:

I've always thought my guy looks hot with his glasses on, though I guess if we are kissing with mine on at the same time... well, it feels a little like we're nerds making out in junior high. All that's missing is our braces! :lol: But I kinda like the nerd-factor, 'cause we both know that we are dorks anyway and we are comfy with that. :D Still, beyond kissing, the glasses have to go...

So did I. Now I'm sorely disappointed.

Anyways, I take mine off during sex. They just get in the way. And forget kissing with them on if the other person is wearing them too. That's just trouble.

i usually make a subconsciene decision to wear contacts when i have a good idea that certain... "things" will be happening that night. if it's a late night, i usually take my contacts out after once everythings quited down.
and in the few cases where i've worn my glasses [from laziness and whatnot] i take them off.

I take mine off, but my eyes aren't really that bad. If they're cute glasses, I would like her to keep them on. I like girls with glasses.

I definitely take them off.....but then my vision is not terrible without them. They are in the way and distracting. But like a few folks have already mentioned, deliberately put them somewhere safe! Otherwise you will forget you put them there.

I leave em on, never have gotten in the way of oral or sex for me. Not an issue
