Bushisms - A medical condition?
This campaign has been largely mishandled by the Dems and I believe that they will lose in November. It's fascinating to watch this play out because back when this campaign got started the following points were relevant arguments against the current administration (some of which may still apply):
- The economy was struggling through a mild, post WW-II era recession - A fiscal year federal budget deficit that was approaching $500 billion (although it's a small percentage of GDP but the Clinton News Network CNN would not report it that way) - There was a war seemingly gone awry in Iraq - Health care costs continue to sky rocket almost without an upward boundary - The US education system struggles to continue to produce high school graduates (although those that are making it out are scoring better on aptitude tests) - Oh yeah -- there's the issue of that Bin Laden asshole out there who is still hell bent on killing us  (calling him an asshole does a real disservice to all the other real assholes out there) - And a myriad of other available issues that could have been made deal breakers for the Republicans And the Democrats who can't decide whether to wind their ass or scratch their watch when it comes to this campaign come up with this question: HOW ARE WE GOING TO BEAT THIS GUY? I found this article ( Bushisms ) to be somewhat entertaining but the last line is the best: Quote:

I see he is not stupid, he is going senile.
Then Chicago's mayor Daley must be in full fledged dementia. Jesus the left is desperate these days. |
So...we're making an actual issue of "Bushisms" now? That's so far down on the bottom of my list of problems and concerns over the man, that it doesn't even register on the meter.
Hell, it's one of the few things that I like about the man. I would hope that we are not that desperate. |

Whats so great about that ;) |
Hehe missed that. I knew I shoulda looked.
Of course its funny only if you know what paper 'Globe Newspaper Company' is. |
This is the kind of stuff that drives me crazy. Why can't people on either side actually talk about issues. I don't think Bush is stupid or dyslexic or suffering from Alzeihmers. I do, however, have grave concerns about his policies. Democrats, the Kerry Campaign and liberal writers and columnists need to bring up the level of discussion and avoid these sort of silly topics. They only serve to iritate the opponent, disgust/annoy the undecided and give an undeserved "sense of superiority" to those who agree. This also goes for those on the right who say Kerry is "too French" or "too priviledged" or has "funny hair". None of it helps the debate or the election process, it only cheapens it.
