State of the Union BINGO

I just wrote up a State of the Union BINGO card generator program and cards.

http://www.cs.panam.edu/~babbitt/projects/index.php

I'm sorry if some of you consider this to be spam, but I feel that it appropriate given that it is a game to be played during a current political event.

HAHAHAHA, just curious by what format the program in because I unzipped/rarred it and what I assume the .exe would be is a .py file.

.py is a python script. It requires a python interpreter to be installed, as well as (currently) depending on a *nix environment (I develop on linux, and this was a quick hack).

It also requires pdflatex to be installed.

If you need more cards for some reason and are incapable of running the program without significant effort (windows users), PM me and I'll make a larger card set available.

I was just hoping that I could drop in other card text and use the generator for events other than the State of the Union. Is a winNT interp avaliable that will open python scripts ?

EDIT: I get a pdflatex is not not recognized and the output is a .tex, how do I go from a .tex to a pdf since adobe doesn't like .tex s.

A python interpreter is available at http://www.activestate.com. It is called activepython.

pdflatex is part of the LaTeX suite. It is available for windows at

http://directory.google.com/Top/Comp...Distributions/

The program is a generic BINGO generator. Just edit the bingo.phrases file, enter one phrase per line.
