Wild animals

Here's a few pics of some of the animals I've run across over the tha last year or so.
1st is a deer on Mayne Island (near Vancouver island). They are not timid of humans..at all.

I saw this doe up in Northern BC.

Here's some sheep that were along a hwy in central BC.


They sure allowed me to get close.

Here's a bear that was sleeping beside the power pole. My job involves power poles, so I was a bit suprised to see him there.

I saw some Elk up close last December at the Banff Springs Hotel... That place is amazing!

They are amazing...still can't figure out why someone would want to shoot & kill such beautiful beasts....Now if the animals had guns and could shoot back at the hunters, now that would be sport.
