I'm just a naive kid from the suburbs, so deal with it:

So... this tiny zoo out in the middle of nowhere was doing a fundraiser where you pay $XX and get a photo with baby tigers. Money goes to enlarging their habitat. They're pretty much the cutest things on the planet. They're like giant cuddly house cats with giant teeth and paws. Apparently the tabby cub I'm holding is a really rare critter, with only ~50 left on the planet. Whew, I was so ready to stick 'em in my jacket and run outta there a cubnapper.

So yeah, turns out I'm going to be squeein' all week looking at that picture. They're friggin' adorable.

They are awesomely cute! Good job helping out a great cause, Cromp.

Is this "middle of nowhere" zoo of yours somewhere in West Virginia? 'cause if so, I've been there before as well a few years back.

Awww! So cute! Were they soft?

Gah, they were fuzzy soft and very sleepy. They growled like a small motorcycle when they were hungry. Only weighed 16 pounds or so, but had these huge limbs and big heads with eat-yo-face teeth. It was a once-in-a-lifetime type thing. I was so ready to abduct 'em!

Armpit-sized zoo was located at Natural Bridge.

Ah, that's right. Western Virginia; they run together now years later. The great feature that the tiger cub facility used to do was they'd go on a "roadshow" with usually two infants to the local markets and pubs to just wow the unsuspecting public with miniature tigers roaming their Wal-mart aisles..

Hey thats awesome! at 4 weeks and you say they only weight 16lbs, what monstrously huge babies! Man those little guys are cute, you shoulda ran off with at least one of them.

Yeah, they weighed about as much as my lazy rotund house cat. I was surprised how scrawny they were... you could feel their ribs and pointy cat-elbows and stuff. Their bellies were rather plump from suckin' down giant bottles of critter-be-bigger milk, though.
