Moral Dilemma?
I find that I enjoy reading he posts on this Philosophy part of the Board more than the Titty Board and invariably now ignore the Titty Board altogether. However for many months I never even looked at any other parts of the Forum except the Titty Board and I was thinking . . . as the Titty Board is the main initial attraction (just look ate the view counts!) . . do any members find there is a moral dilemma in looking at porn whilst discussing religious faith etc?

I'll be interested to hear that one Whoaits. Something about appreciating God's handiwork is it?
I too fall into the category that must apply to most of us here: Came for the Titty Board, stayed for the Chatter. As long I'm not criticising pornography whilst looking at the Titty Board I wouldn't see a contradiction. But now I just find that the TB is a bit dull and repetitive, whilst the Chatter boards are fun and interesting.

Thats interesting 4thTimelucky . . . . me too. I return to the board to read and post now and not to look at naked women . . . .I wonder how many others have done the same. I do still feel that there must be some members who are pretty religious and feel uncomfortable (or guilty?) at the notion of 'enjoying' the pornography (although in fairness I cannot justify why I should expect a religious person to feel more guilty than a non-religious person).

I rarely go to the titty board anymore. But I have never seen a problem with pornagraphy. I think all our taboos on sex and what not is a invention of our modern society. Even the bible is full of sex.

There is no conflict whatsoever, between desire & faith.
However my in my "faith" there are no "rules" or "sins", just an acknowledgement of a connection between everything. However, there are consequences, good or bad, on a emotional & physical level, as with anything in life. There is a balance to everything. |
