Great Idea
 

I was hoping someone would put a place for parenting here.
I value the intellegence of this community, and think we can all gain insight into what is probably the most important thing we will ever do in this life....develop a child.

Very nice idea for a thread and honestly we were in need of a a thread for kids themselves since there was no real thread just sexuality health and lounge. Hehe, lets just hope this place gets a bit more popular soon though not sure if everyone has scrolled up in a while to see anything besides the titty board ><

See the subject line. I imagine that when I'm a parent (in 15 years or so) that I will come here, visiting TFP version 9.0 :-)

I think this site (area.....forum...whatever) is a fantastic idea! There are an awful lot of us out there who have kids (and NO...that doesn't mean we are necessarily old heh heh)

Kudo's to starting up a place we can talk kids without weeding through all the various threads in "living".

I need this sight. I had no experience with children until I had one. I have little resources materially and socially.
Sharing stories, ideas, joy, humor and sorrow on this forum helps to enrich us all. The loss of community in these modern times requires many of us to 'seek the kindness of strangers'
Parenting alone is insane.

My wife and I both work in academia and most people wait until tenure to have kids. We did not. We have very few friends with children to talk to about parenting. I'm very excited about "Tilted Parenting" . Thanks for setting it up!

I also thought of this just before it happened, but I didn't write a word. Perhaps the time was right and it was just bound to happen. The TFP is synchronous like that!!(Halx has a 6th sense :)
