Intuition - listening to yourself
Ian Xel Lungold about "intuition":

This denial of human nature rests in turn upon an illusion, a misconception of self and world." Link and his book : Ascent of Humanity |
Who else do we listen to, reliably? Attempting discourse with others is problematical at best, especially when they won't listen back. I perceive no indication of what kind of discussion you're hoping for.

When a person becomes honest with themselves then they can begin to deal honestly with others. Once honesty has been attained over time the soul is naturally right and true and whole. Anything that is right and true and whole can tell whether or not something else is right and true, therefore honesty is the secret to omniscience.
Intuition, knowing what is right & true aside what is wrong & false. My little philosophy lesson of the day for ya! |
Much appreciated.
Owning what I know, yet still believing in the tides, I go with the flow. |
I suspect that listening is a lost art form that has been suppressed by excessive logical thought.
In my view, all Valuable truths come from within the self. To know the self you must listen to it intuitively. Learn to trust your feelings, or find them is that is necessary. John |

Intuition
Howdy. I am new here but this item caught my attention. More than 40 years ago when I set out to find "The Truth," for some reason that I totally forget, it seemed important to deliberately develop my intuition. There was a long period of time, stretching over more than a decade, when my intellect fought a battle with my intuition. Eventually I learned, by trial and error, that my intuition was smarter than my intellect in guiding me as to what I should do in both small and large situations.
Apart from a basic structure for my daily routine, most decisions are guided by my intuition. Of course the intuition did not lead me along a smooth, comfortable path in life -- rather the opposite. Eventually I decided, for better or for worse, that my intuition -- from wherever it came, was leading me on the shortest path to work out karma. I am open to the possibility that what I term my intuition, might in fact be a guardian angel. All I know is that my intuition can foresee things which my intellect would be quite unable to. |
Welcome! I'm listening to my intuition. You recognize yours is part of your intellect, right?

Intuition and instinct. The first one we develop through knowledge and experience. The second? Something more raw and unfathomable at work. Intuition can be mixed up as something outside ourselves, as if we are disconnected from our own minds. What's exciting is that we control it and evolve it as we like... mostly.

I must remember, however, that within the intuition, instinct and honesty one must still recognize humanity, history and science for these are the evolutionary tools that have helped teach us the perspectives from which each individual perceives these "gifts" of their singular reality and that not all individuals intuitions, instincts or honesty necessary arises from the same cauldron of experience.
Each pot of stew (ones life experience and how they perceive them) tastes different and what I like may not be appetizing to you so I must break down the ingredients and explain why I make my stew the way I do and then taste yours and from the blending of our ingredients (that which we like about each others perspectives on feeding our own souls mankind basic goodness) we can create a meal that may truly feed our children with even greater intuitions, instinct and especially a honesty that is universal in its kindred desire for humanities cohesive living experience. |
& it doesn't take others telling you you're right to know when you are.
