Can anyone really find out who are all these people in this picture?

Lenin, Pele, Hitler, Clinton, Audrey Hepburn, Charlie Chaplin, Mike Tyson, Putin, Shirley Temple, Einstein, Mandela?, Freud?, Van Gogh?, Shakespeare, Churchill, Bruce Lee, Elvis, Stalin, Marx, Mozart?, Lincoln, Mao, Napoleon, Genghis Khan?, Che, Yasser Arafat, Marilyn Monroe?, Mother Teresa, Bismarck?, Gandhi.

I'd need higher resolution to figure out some of the others, and some I have no clue about.

I counted 20-23 people give or take some who I know their names but can't think of right now, some who like napoleon or Lenin I think I might be guessing.

I got 36....some of those are pretty bad interpretations.

what gets me is why some of the "lesser/unimportant" people are mixed in there with the biggies

any other similar paintings? I know I've seen at least one other that was just people of the European Middles ages (I'll see if I can't find it again)
