Ya know what scares me, your spelling!

But seriously, I get freaked out during any time that it's really silent, mainly because if you make any noise everyone's going to hear it. Or at least you think that...

Usually when that happens it means that something really profound or deep is being said

In the "Halleluja Chorus" from Handel's "Messiah", there's a huge break of silence near the end of the movement, right after some very loud music. I love that part in live performances, 'cause there's always some idiot talking to their friend who gets caught in the silence. Busted!

Wow, someone is making a poor attempt to get into the TittyBoard. At least just make small informative replies instead of useless threads for me to crap in

Wow - who in the hell would talk during Messiah?
It's one of the best parts of Christmas - right up there with a kickass rendition of Oh Holy Night.

your sensitivity to this is likely related to alcohol consumption. Depending on the type you are drinking, the alcohol molecule actually hits various parts of your brain, one of which is a little-known part of your emotional system. Often called the human 'paranoid center', the 'ne feceris ut rideam' (the latin term) somehow only responds to the C2H6 portion of the molecule, which produces one extra oxygen moelcue in the brain. This extra O molecule binds with the O in C2H6O of alcohol, forming a substance that is an instant trigger to the 'ne feceris ut rideam': C2H6O2. When triggered, two response hormones are released: glucagon (causes blood sugar rise) and inositol (the 'fear response' hormone.) You can see what happens when these two combine. That's what your experiencing.

I would suggest that when this happens, you exchange the drink in your hand for water...for the evening.

Sorry I'm rambling on incoherently...I'm sure most of this is freaky far out. Still, I find it very entertaining.
