You have night terrors? That sux, I've had those before. I can only suggest some sort of relaxation ritual before bed, and to remember that you can always wake up from a bad dream. Meff suggests to me, when I am having these, that I think about things I'd like to dream about before going to sleep, even if it's totally fantastical stuff, like winning the lottery;and that if I start to have a bad dream, I can "switch" to the good dream. It worked! Hope t hat helps?

Night Terrors aren't Nightmares. Hubby has had them and I've ended up with bruises and black eyes because if it. Nowhere the same. It's more often related to breathing problems or sleep apnea than related to relaxation and tension. These you can't wake from - no one can wake you until it's over. Been there tried that doesn't happen.

The reason you can't awake from a night terror is because by definition, it's the waking process as a nightmare in deep sleep awakens you and continues to play out in your mind while you're conscious.

Eh, don't worry about it Z. So you haven't posted in here recently, its no biggie. I have my downtimes as well. My paranormal stuff actually died for a while.. as I drifted from my spiritual life.. I'm returning to it, and as I do.. I notice more and more. And I must say, I'm relieve to be feeling it again, even the ones that make me feel a little weird.
