Kelly Clarkson or The Yeah Yeah Yeahs..
 

Ok, so a Kelly Clarkson video("Since you been gone" or something like that) came on after a Greenday video so I listened to it.. About 2/3 of the way through the song the guitar and drums sounded ALOT.. ok.. Exactly like the Yeah Yeah Yeah's song "Maps."

Has anyone else noticed the similarities between near the end of these songs?

I never stuck around through Kelly's video long enough to notice :confused:

i've only just heard the yeah yeah yeahs! that song 'maps' is so captivating...i got sent a copy of a live session that they did with the bbc and 'maps' immediately stuck out!

oh but i haven't heard the kely clarkson track...in fact i don't think i have ever heard anything by her! any good?

^ She's from American Idol. The first winner. She has a few decent and pretty good R&B tracks but I've heard nothing absolutely spectacular from her just yet.

Maybe this aint the place to say this cause you asked about the similarities between the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Kelly Clarkson.... but I have to admit something here. I like the Since you been gone song but I REALLY like the Video... Cause she is like SMOKIN HOTT... love the lowcut shirt she is wearing and the weight she has lost. She looks a little trampy in that video. There I said it... now just dont tell anyone I like her.

To me, the only part in Kelly's song that resembels the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is the little guitar solo near the end. But it sounds exactly like them.
