I wouldn't call Manowar Black Metal. But I would say that's a fitting picture for their rediculous music, which if freaking awesome.

my pal, the good dr. bindujeet, is quite committed to this type of music.
i like some of it when he plays it for me--earlier burzum in particular--but i just cant look at the pr material. it is all too funny.

Much of it sucks, and some of those aren't actually black metal (Dimmu, Cradle of Filth)

This isn't the best pic, but I love the comments:

Fenriz (Darkthrone) is probably the most dramatic of all black metal-ers. In almost every choreographed photo, he's either kneeling in the woods, got his arms outstretched, or is looking into the sky, no doubt cursing Jesus for not giving him enough money to record a decent album.
