BIG and Tupac. Just saw the documentary. - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

What an interesting documentary. I have a few questions though.
I'm yet to dive into documentary films, however I do know that it's wise to not immediately believe certain things that they can try to 'feed' the viewers. Michael Moor comes to mind. Nothing against his work, but I do understand that he has bent some of his scenes.

What I'm wondering is if any of you know of any parts of this film that are false? If they're all true, which they seem to be because he lets the witnesses do the talking, I don't see why people aren't being arrested. I know that it's hard to investigate crimes commited by cops, especially those who are part of a district as well known as LAPD, but it still seems so obvious. And besides the cops, "The Bookkeeper" who moved money for Suge Knight to pay for BIG's killing was a really strong part of the film. Why can't that speech be used as a testimonial against him? Just seems fishy to me. Here you have a guy who obviously moved money for him, and he heard various times that it was for BIG's killing. I'm just stumped.
I'd like to hear what you guys think.

because anyone can say anything they want outside of a court of law. Once put on the stand he can either invoke the 5th amendment or just recant the whole "speech".

No DA wants to be made a fool of... they like tight cases that get convictions, not acquitals.

As far as I understand, Christopher Wallace was fairly deep into drug dealing for quite a few years - he probably made a lot of enemies.

by "documentary" are you referring to the movie Tupac: Resurrection? If so, yeah that is a great movie and I learned a lot about Pac I didn't know. Made me become a fan whereas before I just listened to some of his tracks.

^oh where did you see that? was it on tv? I never heard of it... interesting...

well i recommend you rent Resurrection when it comes out on video or check it out at a dollar theater if it's still there b/c it's good.

Yeah I've never heard of it either. I'll definitely check it out. Biggie and Tupac was a documentary covering the two controversial deaths released a few years ago by an English man. Very good stuff
