Surprisingly Great - Maroon 5: Songs About Jane!
 

OH MAN I just bought Maroon 5's cd "Songs About Jane" after it being recommended to me by several people. ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I've ever made regarding a cd purchase!

Now I'm typically more of an R&B/Rap/Hip-Hop kind of guy, but I can appreciate this kind of rock, (Is it rock?) I guess. Of course my favorite is Harder to Breathe because it's just dope, but the ENTIRE CD is REALLY good. I was surprised.

My other favorites on the cd are "This Love," "Shiver," "She Will Be Loved," and "Tangled." Hell, I like the whole cd, let me stop.

Anybody else have this cd? I actually heard this cd has been around for TWO years and it's just now picking up and getting popular. That's crazy... I can't believe they didn't make another cd in that period.

Anyways, bottom line is, if you don't have this cd, you need to at least sample it on their website, www.maroon5.com and then buy it because it's so good! OK I sound like I'm working for them or something now...

I ADORE this CD. I seriously can't stop listening to it. Its rock with some edge to it. I was listening to it yesterday and thinking that it's got a touch of hip hop in it. Maybe it's just me, but I can feel it.

^yeah it definately does have a soulful/hip-hop type of feel to it. I love it. These guys are great. I can't stop spinning this album.

all i've heard of these guys is some good reviews and the short buzzworthy clip that mtv shows of videos during the credits. gotta go check them out.

The sad thing is that this CD was out for well over a year I think before it started to get any airplay. I've loved this CD for a long time. "sunday Morning" was the song that got me hooked.

i have only heard harder to breathe by them when it is on the radio. i was goin to buy the album but wasnt sure because i was worrided that it would be like the only good song on the album. i now know i am wrong...

Yup, I remember hearing "Harder to Breathe" in the summer of 2002. Then this past summer everyone's playing it saying "New Single by Maroon 5" Well.. sorta new :rolleyes:

I actually listened to a few of their songs on Yahoo:Launch Radio, and I l oved them. No doubt they are a good band
