Sheryl Crow grabs Shania Twain's butt at the CMA's
 

I thought this was funny. And pretty damn sexy, too. It looks like there was alot of excitiment on the red carpet of last night's Country Music Awards show, at least between Sheryl Crow and Shania Twain.

There's something new on the red carpet at this year's CMA: Publicists run ahead of the artists with hand-out sheets telling you the names of the acts, some career highlights and, of course, what they're wearing.

In addition to fashion, secrets are revealed. Sheryl Crow, for instance, has an affinity for Shania Twain. While Shania was talking to Access Hollywood, Sheryl walked up behind her and pinched her tush.

A calm Shania turned and said, ''Don't forget the other cheek.''

Several performances were noticeably low-key. More excitement was generated before the show on the red carpet, when Crow grabbed Twain's posterior. "Don't forget the other cheek," Twain quipped, further accentuating the evening's conciliatory tone.

Madonna/Britney/Christina wannabes?

Now that I could get into, better than the VMA kiss thing.

Nah. Shania and Sheryl were spontaneous and sexy. MadBritTina were staged and sterile.
