Radiohead Australian Tour Petition
 

Radiohead are touring Australia's east coast in April. Why they don't come to Perth is beyond me?
Although i already have tickets and plans to see them in Melbourne, it'd also be nice to see them come to Perth as well.

So if you're in Perth and like Radiohead, which would be an extremely small set of people here on TFP (probably just me, lol) or even just a fan of Radiohead, could you sign the petition for all us poor Perth people who always get fucked over with Australian tours.

well, i'm pretty sure everyone is gonna miss radiohead... only one show in sydney and one in melbourne.... tickets will sell out in 5 minutes. THey must be coming back later in the year to do a proper tour.

sorry to say that i got to see them 3 times this summer...

two shows in melbourne, both the 26th and 27th april. i missed out on tickets to the first show, then the ticketek lady said 'oh, but theres some left to the 2nd show'

needless to say, i was dancing with joy!

hopefully they dont follow suit of a perfect circle and opeth and pull out of their australian tour. *crosses fingers*

i'm also a little pissed that they're having 2 shows in sydney and melbourne now, so that's 4 shows in 2 cities....
I was gonna go to the second show as well, or try to get tickets, but i'd wish they'd just come to perth instead...

that said, i think one of the reasons is that there are no good venues in perth anymore. The entertainment centre was good, now that's been bulldozed or whatever, where else is there? the burswood dome sucks, i saw pearl jam there, it wasn't too good. Challenge stadium, probably crap. Metro City was good though, i saw The Tea Party there, although it doens't have the capacity...

I saw Ben harper at the bellviour (sp?) ampitheatre, which was ok, heaps of people as well. Although that's outside...

meh, i guess i'll just be happy with going over for melbourne for now....

saw em twice this summer.... go if you can!!!
