What is your POWERSONG?

My girlfriend is starting some class and their first assignment was to say what their POWERSONG is, a song that really gets you up and going, usually fast tempo or paced, but something that can get you motivated to do almost anything when you hear it

I would have to say that mine is Not falling by Mudvayne

This song gets me fired up and ready to go no matter what

doomdoom 08-10-2003 04:38 AM

theguyondacouch 08-10-2003 02:12 PM

War pigs, danm, thats a good song

sixate 08-10-2003 02:41 PM

It depends. I have a few songs that when I listen to them I have to play it as loud as possible and make me want to smash someones face in. I usually listen to that stuff when I go to the gym. Songs include:

Pantera: Fucking Hostile
Metallica: Damage Inc
Fear Factory: Edgecrusher
Mudvayne: Nothing to Gain
Slayer: War Ensemble, Raining Blood... (Actually anything by Slayer)

And the list could go on, but I'm not that bored.

Spektr 08-10-2003 07:46 PM

Anything by RATM.

Can't believe no one said Edgar Winter's 'Frankenstein'... I know is really old school classic rock and all, but man, besides low-rider, its like the ultimate cruisin' song. Fun as hell to play on guitar too.... gets u just as pumped playing as listening.

quadro2000 08-15-2003 08:24 AM

Won't Get Fooled Again and Baba O'Riley by The Who. Those power chords that you just know are accompanied by classic Pete Townshend guitar windmills get me every time. Plus, Roger Daltrey's bloodcurling scream at the end of Won't Get Fooled Again is quite therapeutic to, um, scream along to.

Quadro

I think I'm gonna stop before I think of anymore...
