Robert Randolph and the Family Band

These guys opened for Clapton when I went to see him. Honestly, I think they were better than the main act.

Robert Randolph and the Family Band

It's sort of a delta blues/funk/rock sound that I really dig.

Also, Robert Randolph is a fucking god on pedal steel.

Anybody else listen to these guys?

EDIT for some Youtube goodness:

Cool dude, have seen them on TV but never in person. I like their sound. Randolph owns the slide guitar.

Likewise, I like Randolph; I have a couple of his albums. The songwriting could be a bit stronger, but the performances are stellar.
