Before I put it on eBay, anyone want to buy a guitar?
 

I'm selling my 40th anniversary American Standard Fender Stratocaster. I thought I'd give people here a crack at it before I resort to eBay.

It has a maple neck, rosewood freboard and a hardshell case.

It came with white pick guard, pickup covers and knobs. I will include those and/or swap out the black ones for you.

My camera wouldn't focus, but it says "Fender Stratocaster, 40 years...and still rockin'!"

It's not in mint condition. It has a scratch on the back and general wear and tear from 12 years of moderate use (daily playing in the first several years, maybe once a month the last several). It's action needs some fine tuning and it needs new strings.

when was the last time you had a tech look at it? I'm wondering, I might be interested in it. It depends on your price.

it was held on probation for a day but apparently it's fine now.

a tech has never looked at it. i was never in a band or anything and never performed with it. It probably does need some fine tuning. As for price, my best frame of reference is that the same guitar (with the same case) is going for roughly $500-$650 on eBay right now.
