Washed my cars today (many pics)

And now I'm posting them because I can (and because I'm killing time until time to get ready for the company x-mas party tonight ;) ).

Pulled both cars up in the yard today and gave 'em a little bath.

Damn those are some nice cars. I'll take the NSX please ;)

How long do those ES100's last on it? I'd think the rears would practically melt off the rims they'd wear so fast. On my turbo MR2 I go through a set in 20,000 miles if I'm lucky, and I think the NSX kills tires faster than mine does.

Very nice and clean ;) ...I'm especially partial to the NSX.

Based on what other NSX owners have reported, I'll be replacing the rear tires at 10,000 miles, maybe a bit more. The fronts might go 20,000 miles. I'm budgeting to replace the rears once a year and the fronts every two years.

I'm envoius of you.

Salomon 12-05-2005 04:12 PM

Yep, those are 2 hot cars you have there.
I notice you have washed them in the shade as well -- proper car wash etiquette, heheh. No water spots that way.

I've heard the NSX described thusly: "It's like a Ferrari, but engineered by people who went to college."

Don't be. We're both working people just like everyone else (okay maybe a little older) who choose to drive nice used cars instead of mid-priced new cars. No big trick there!
:D

merkerguitars 12-05-2005 10:34 PM

Damn, you can tell your a more proud and deserving owner since you wash them yourselves :)

Dragonknight 12-06-2005 02:01 AM

VERY NICE cars you gots there very nice. I miss my car so damn bad. I hate going to different countries where I can't take my car (well my wife first then the car). What have you gotten the NSX up to?

Gnzo 12-14-2005 11:05 PM

What can I say? We are TiVo fanatics, the annoying kind that will talk your ear off about it given half a chance. :)

We also go to a lot of meets with other TiVo Community people so the clings are kind like our ID when we pull up.

It's a '95 - #718 of 780. I paid $30K with 56,000 miles on it. I thought that was a pretty good deal even though it was due for a timing belt/water pump service and the tires were almost ready for replacement. It's not a garage queen.

First of all you have 2 verrrrry beautiful cars.. and from the looks of it, they probably run just as well.. but hey, I gottta ask.. How do you or what do you use to get the engine looking so fine?
