What you guys miss out on in the US - NISSAN SILVIA 200SX!!! - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

With all this car talk, I thought I just had to give you an indication of what you cannot get up there - one of Nissan's finest and a cult car down under and in Japan - the Silvia.

Its a classic sports coupe - two door, rear wheel drive, 6 speed manual, front mounted 2.0 litre turbo churning out about 150Kw (about 200 hp) and running the quarter in 14 seconds!!!

These cars have superb handling and true sports car characteristics - not to mention definite chick pulling potential!

those 'drilled racing pedals' make me want to be fast and furious, can i buy the car now....i'll go find it junked and make it a '10 second car' in 2 days.

it was imported here in the early 90's and wasn't such a hot seller. Was high priced vs performance...so then Nissan decided to no longer import the vehicle.

Next year, up here in Canada, we can import the R32 Skyline GT-R's. All wheel drive and close to 300hp.

Isn't the US supposed to get an Infiniti model based on the skyline soon?

Sweet looking car. I think it wouldn't do bad in the US considering it's turbo. Everyone loves turbo, it's fun and easy to mod.
