Car puzzle
from cartalk this week.
Looking for the name of a car part. Most cars have one. Some cars have two. Never seen a car with three. A few cars have four.

yeah. I think cams is the best answer....I like valve covers better, though, since it fits the 'most have one' criteria the best...some twin cam v-blocks have seperate covers for intake and exhaust. This obviously wasn't a question for car guys, though.

i agree camshaft might be the best answer. though i feel just as many today (if not many more) may have 2 as have 1. i don't know HOW you'd get 3, and a few have definitely had 4, my 95 grand prix was a DOHC V-6 (dual over-head cam) i.e. 4 camshafts
