Koenig Ferrari 575M Maranello
Before the Enzo, the best Ferrari was the 575M Maranello. Koenig decided it was time to release a new exhaust system, turbochargers, air filters, a spoiler, and new brakes for the 575M. The 575M can now post a sub-4 0-60.
Dont know how to post pictures, but here is a link. http://www.koenig-specials.com/bilde...aranello/1.jpg |

The best touch is the spoiler. That adds to the more sporty look. If you see an F50 on the street, you turn your head. The 575M unmodified won't turn many heads as it doesn't have a radical design. The spoiler adds just the right touch to have a more commanding look. The turbochargers just add for more excitement on the highway.

that's what I like about it....it's subtle and doesn't have the racer look to it. and does it really need the wing from a performance standpoint? does it actually function? ferrari designed the car to do 180+ w/o the wing, and adding something like that just to "turn heads" is a waste in my opinion........

Don't like it. A Ferrari is a Ferrari. A modified Ferrari isn't pure any more. The 575M Maranello is arguably one of the best looking cars on the road today. That modified piece is hideous. I don't mind performance bits under the hood, on the suspension, brakes, or things like that, but even in a Ferrari, how much more do you REALLY need? To turbocharge a Ferrari, especially this one, you take away that sweet V12 sound, and make it sound like who-knows-what. I'll take my $175,000 Ferrari UNMODIFIED please.

The unmodified 575M Ferrari has a more subtle exhaust tone. The Koenig exhaust system has a more aggressive Ferrari sound. The turbos are there for performance. If I had a 575M, I would take the spoiler, exhaust, and brakes.

I don't like the spoiler at all, but the rest of the mods are great! The reason Ferrari doesn't give the cars more power/performance in the beginning is to keep costs reasonable (relatively) and to prolong the overall life of the cars. But if you have the money and desire to get more out of it, there's no reason why you shouldn't.

You can never go wrong with giving a car more power, and the wheels arent all that bad (id never by them)
But come on....that ugly ass wing does nothing but create more drag and weight and slows down the car. Even with the increased power you dont need very much more if any downforce to keep the car on the road |

I would like the car better without the wing. It would be a sleeper among the elite cars. I say this because I knew a guy who bought a Ferrari because he felt people could not tell it was a Ferrari except for two small emblems. Nothing on the body yells out. Its just a purely sleek design.

I think the car looks sweet!! I really like the look of the now dead Supra, and any camparison,(even of this caliber), is not a bad thing. The car may have been widened in the rear,(can't really tell from the pic.), and may give reasoning for the huge liped rear wheels. Wings are iether a love it, or hate it issue anymore since there are only about a bazillion different styles. We can only hope that the owner actually likes it
![]() Don't get me wrong, I love purity among exotics, but a random 'tuned' varient is always welcome in my book.
