Any bikers out there??
I have a '03 Honda VTX 1800 Retro. For those who don't know metric cruisers, it looks a lot like an Indian, has dual disk brakes and fuel injection. I'll add a pic as soon as I get a host site set up.

I ride an '84 GS750ES (the bike that never existed, according to parts suppliers) every day that I can. Started this year first week of April (-2C in the morning) and will go until the snow flys this winter. I LOVE to ride, it gives me time to think about stuff that eludes me with all the background noise that surrounds me the rest of the time.(If you ride you know what I mean)

Dirt bikes since I was 5, then stupid-fast street bikes, now an almost sedate 95 BMW R1100RSL that mostly sits still very quickly. (crying)

Just bought a 2000 Harley 1200 Sportster last Tues. Needless to say, this is the culmination of a dream thats lasted over 30 years.
I've found I've been much less stressed at work this week... it's incredible how much you can let slide when you think to yourself "I have a HD at home in my garage" at just the right moment... |

I've had 3 road bikes (1 honda & 2 kwakas) and 2 dirt bikes (both yamaha). Best road bike was GPZ900R - brilliant fun. Bought a Yamaha TTR two weeks ago for fun in the dirt! Would love a V Rod. |

My boy blew up his '00 busa in march. I loved that dang thing *sigh*
Blue and silver, weighed a ton, took corners at 100 with no problem... even with my butt on the back. Methinks I got addicted to the vibrations of that monster as it hit 160 with my boy between my knees. Can't WAIT till he gets the 2006 model! :insert big grin and evil genius laugh here: But, i'm thinking about getting one for myself... a smaller something. Any suggestions? Definately a sport bike, though, not a hawg girl. |
