Question for anyone who owns or has driven an H2
First, I want to say that I'm closing the thread and sending out a warning for the first troll or flame I see. The term "H2" seems inflammatory by itself, lets not start arguing about it here.
Now, my question. When driving it, are the blind spots as big as the outside view suggests they would be? Can you really see much out of the windshield? The reason I ask is because as I was mowing the lawn today, I saw a fairly tall man craning his neck down to see traffic coming from one side. I'm assuming there's a decent amount of room inside, but are the small window detrimental to the driving experience? |
I've ridden in an H2, they actually ride smooth for a vehicle with 35" all terrains, anyways with the square hood and front clip it can kinda be hard to see. most new vehicles slope down on the side of the hood as well as foward, making it easier to see around the hood. The H2 with its front clip you lose a few inches of view alone on the hood, you also add the fact that the front end is higher up than 90% of everyday vehicles and that worsens it. And I guess the windows could stand to be bigger, but then the lines wouldn't flow as well.

From having to move them about, they have some unpleasant blind spots and some angles that make precise driving difficult.

I have also noticed that the blind spots are pretty severe in the H2. Hell, they aren't much better in the original, military hummers.

Seems that I'm getting pretty much what I expected. Thanks for the info, and I'll be sure to keep my distance from those blind spots.

the blind spots out the rear view are wicked. watch out.
