They'd have to put an elephant in the back to even out the weight distribution on that thing, but it'd still have enough torque to go fast.

I just had an idea for the next Pixar movie. Elephant racers. BRB, scripting.

doesn't look as absurd as I thought it might, just sort of funnycar-ish. with that torque, it probably doesn't actually go anywhere, just sits and roasts the tires...

They weigh about 1500 lbs. in stock form, but can be brought down to around 900 lbs. ready to run without too much trouble. They are capable of making tremendous amounts of power, and really love turbocharging. Two turbos, 34 pounds of boost + alcohol = 3800 HP at 5200 rpm..."

well I see alcohol funny cars transfer that kind of power to the ground, why not this car? If you notice, this is not a "street Mustang" it has full cage, tube chassis, tubed out rear with huge slicks ...suitable for putting a few thousand horsepower to the ground.
