ew, Audi hatchback. A4/S4 rape.

This cars been in europe for a long time. It is not some new car audi came up with to be more like the honda scene. If that is what someone might have thought.

All that car is, is an A3 or S3 with a Sportec body kit. They've been out forever. They were supposed to come to the US this year.

This is an okay car ... but I prefer the Skoda Octavia RS models. You could probably tune them up to the same levels (being that they have the same engines), but the Skoda costs less, looks better (IMHO) and has more space. Then again, I have a family of 5.

It truely does look like every other hatchback, it would have started life nearly four years ago now though so it is forgivable.

The back end looks like all the other hatchbacks.....I like the front end!:hmm:

I don't understand why all these previously high up car companies are trying to build these cars that are bringing there overall image down. The BMW 1 series...Audi making a Civic DX clone...:rollseyes:

Leave that market up to honda and chevy...

The A3 has been around for a while, it's nothing new. They just aren't in the US.

This is just an S3 with a body kit on it.

Understand, that in Germany and Europe these cars are just like American cars are to you. It's no different. German cars are becoming more and more popular, so natrually, they saturate the market even further with more vehicles that they think will sell in the US. This is one of them.

As for the 1-series, I agree. It's ugly, and BMW really should leave that thing at home.

Wow that is one nice looking S3.

Actually, Audi is coming out with the A3 models in US finally. The only problem I see with them is that they will come only in front wheel drive. Still, pretty cool that they have alowed it finally.

Not bad looking , but it does have the GTI look to it.

Do they come with RWD in Europe?

The new A3, in my opinion, has far better lines, and exudes better quality and a higher level of class in general. Also, it is available with a 3.2l V6, a DSG Box and Quattro AWD...it drives so well it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...

I agree with the VW bug references. Looks real nice though :-p

i currently drive an A4 and its just a little big for my likings....that on the other hand is beastly.

what year is your A4?

I assume that this is on a Golf platform, as it is an Audi. Is that right?

Either way, I'm not crazy about it.

its a 1997 A4 2.8L fwd

They come either front or all wheel drive (quattro). The S3 will be out later on.

The S3 is out in Europe. Has been for a long time.
