Washed the car today!

First time in forever. I'm usually pretty good about that, too! Looks a lot better, although it needs to be buffed. Been about two years since that was done last. Here's four pics!

Got any ideas for detailing the exterior of a car with stuff I can get from Wal-Mart? I used to detail, but don't any more.

I used to drive a 89 Cutlass Supreme....it was a 2 door and not nearly as nice. It had a ugly red interior and massive electrical problems...but I loved that car.

Yeah, this one's fairly clean, minus the spot on the L/R door, and the hood where I hit a deer. Car's got 127,500 miles on it. It's a '97.

i am pretty sure walmart and target carry the same inventories in general, and if they do, you should be able to find a kit called "Mother's Clay Bar Kit". Sells for about $15 and includes: clay bar, detail spray, mother's wax, and an appicator. not bad and mothers wax is pretty nice. all you're missing out of that kit is some swirl removal polish and some 100% cotton buffing rags. both available at walmart at your pricing discretion. have fun.

Holy shit thats mint for a wisconsin cutlass. Most I see around my area are rusted and or dented to hell. Lots like it has alotta life left in it.

Why would I want to do that? This one has very few squeaks and rattles...just mainly on big bumps in the road. It is in need on an engine transplant, as the bottom end of this one has problems. I have plans to stuff a GM supercharged 3800 in it later this spring. I like my car, and thanks for the info on detailing products. Maybe I'll get ambitious and do that next weekend. This weekend, it gets new front brakes.

I gotta say its in good shape for hitting a deer...I have seen cars that have the whole front end missing!
